Sequences : Theory and examples (All Solved): High School Maths - Book I (Algebra for High School)

I teach mathematics to IIT JEE aspirants in India (considered to be toughest entrance exam in whole world with 1.5 million students fighting for mere 10,000 seats). THIS BOOK IS NOT ABOUT IIT JEE BUT FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS (GRADE VIII-X). During my teaching career spanning 15 years, I discovered many short cut methods to solve math problems. This book is an effort to extend that journey world wide. All problems are thoroughly solved. Examples at the end of each chapter have four options, space to solve and then solution. This book deals with basics of sequences like AP, GP and HP. Next books shall cover series, polynomials, Theory of equations, permutations and combinations etc. The topics are suitable for student taking high school algebra and preparing for a pre-calculus courseThe book focuses on what we call modern teaching methods in which we not only teach you what but why and how. We not only tell you formulas but also tell you how to remember them easily .The layout for each chapter has been kept similar so that students can organize their studies in an efficient way. Each chapter is organized as follows: (a) Theory and Basic concepts(b) Problem Solving Techniques(c) Glossary of formulas(d) Question Answer section
