This book began with the lofty goal of finding serial numbers in the files of all automobile manufacturers, but in the early days of the automobiles many cars did not have serial numbers, many manufacturers did not exist for long and all records are gone and then with WWII, there were no civilian cars out there to provide numbers for. Therefore, this book is the best available collection of serial numbers for the hundreds of automobile manufacturers that have existed from 1900 to 1950. A clean very presentable copy.
