Sibthorp: Occasioned By His Recent Publication Entitled, Some Answer To The Inquiry, Why Are You Become A Catholic?"" is a book written by a group of clergymen from Hull in 1842. The clergymen take issue with Sibthorp's reasons for converting and argue against the doctrines and practices of the Catholic Church. The book is a passionate defense of Protestantism and a warning against the dangers of Catholicism. It is written in a serious and scholarly tone, and provides a detailed analysis of the theological differences between Protestantism and Catholicism. Overall, ""Serious Remonstrance"" is a compelling and thought-provoking work that sheds light on the religious debates of the 19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
