The Serum

Dr. Sven Olander has been working for years to cure those affected by a dangerous virus – both human and animals alike. Together with his team, they’ve developed a serum made from the DNA found in the blood of a rare tree frog – the only living being on Earth immune to the virus. But in the days after his wife’s death, he begins to question whether it’s all worth it.

Demand for the serum is rising, not just as a cure, but also as a coveted street drug capable of a days-long high. With vital supplies beginning to dwindle, Sven’s lab becomes a target for theft, but that’s not the worst of their problems. Rogue billionaire, Charles Williams, has announced plans to build a teleportation facility in the middle of the tree frog habitat, endangering the cure right at the source.

With nothing left to lose, Sven interferes with construction, but when Charles makes an unexpected offer, Sven must make a choice – save the world or save the one person he can’t live without.
