Only a Servant: Glorious Conversion of an Aged Jew

Scarce wartime American edition of this religious conversion narrative by Slovak evangelical writer Kristina Royová, one of the most widely read Protestant women authors in Central Europe during the early twentieth century. Roy's fiction, often written for devotional and missionary readerships, combined simple narrative style with redemptive testimony literature and cross cultural missionary themes. Lukesh's translation helped introduce these works to English speaking audiences through small religious presses like Osterhus. 8vo. 64pp. Green paper wraps, staple-bound, some fading and wear, "Kristina Roy?" written on the front cover in blue ink, inside front cover is the bookplate of Northeastern Bible College, very good.
