A set of two photograph album/scrap books. The first dated 1964-1965 and the second dated August 1966 to June 1967. 80 Pages and 55 pages respectively. The albums contain many, many captioned photographs and news clippings documenting the activities of the group in the mid 1960s during which the country was at war in Vietnam. Also included in the second album are copies of the Club's monthly newsletter which gives more information of happenings at the base.Lowry Air Force Base in Colorado played a key role in the defense of the United States for nearly 60 years and was named after Lt. Francis Brown Lowry, a World War I aerial observer who died on his 33rd flight mission.
