Found institutionally only at the British Library and the University of Cambridge Libraries.Containing a series of four unbound sheets illustrative of the Piston Valve (steam inside), Piston Valve (steam outside), Common Slide Valve, Double Ported Valve, useful to marine engineers. Collated, complete. A separate sheet contains description and explanations.Housed in the original cloth slipcase. Unbound as issued. Housed in cloth slipcase with light wear to extremities and light damp mark to edge, title label to front board, lightly chipped. Leaves generally clean with a touch of age toning, as usual with the type of paper used. Minor loss to upper right corner of common slide valve plate. Good.
