Seven New QC Tools: Practical Applications for Managers

This book provides managers, staff, and team leaders with an easy introduction to the seven new QC tools - also known as the "seven management tools for QC" - which are designed for:

* Sorting out verbal data.
* Stimulating creativity.
* Putting complex problems into solvable form.
* Ensuring that nothing is left out when planning.

The seven new tools are useful in all departments and functions, including R&D and service.

Through examples, the book explains the use and application of affinity, relations, tree, matrix, and arrow diagrams, process decision program charts, and matrix data analysis.

A highly recommended resource for managers, staff, supervisors, and team leaders, this book is suitable for both individual study and for group training.

Yoshinobu Nayatani, a developer of the seven new tools, is a distinguished counselor for the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE), a member of the Deming Prize Committee, and a professor at Osaka Electro-Communication University. He is a recipient of the Deming Prize.
