(UK) No markings, Fine. Seven dinner menus printed on heavy card with colour illustration to the front cover done by various artists, folding out to present the menu. Each menu is 11.5 x 8.25". There are two identil menus of the St Patrick's Day Dinner. 1. 17thMarch 1997. This is the St. Patrick's Day Dinner with the illusttation of the Caledonia (1894) by Charles Dixon. 2. Another identical St Patrick's Day Menu.3. March 23 1997. The Devanha (1906) at Kowloon by Charles Dixon. 4. March 25 1997. The illustration shows the Ophir (1891) leaving Portsmouth on March 16, 1901 with the Duke and Duchess of York on board en-route for the colonies by Charles Murray Paddy. 5. March 28 1997 The Orsova (1909) off Gibraltar by Norman Wilkinson. 6. March 31 1997. The Ranchi (1925) in the Suez Canal. 7. April 5 1997. The Sunda (1866) at Malta by "English School". The executive chef was Felim Maguiness. Food ranged from Grilled whole Lemon Sole Dejazet to Prime Rib of Beef; Maple Walnut Sponge Pudding with Custard Sauce to Roast leg of Australian Lamb. The SS Canberra was an ocean liner, which later operated on cruises, in the P&O fleet from 1961 to 1997. One of P&O Cruises' and indeed Britain's most famous ships, P&O Canberra went from cruise liner to war hero, and will live on in people's memories for years to come.
