About the Author
SHEA DARIAN (1959-) was born in Jefferson City, MO, and grew up in the Midwest. Shea has been a family educator for over twenty years. Her most recent parenting book - Living Passages for the Whole Family: Celebrating Rites of Passage from Birth to Adulthood - is a Next Generation Indie Book Awards gold medalist and a Nautilus Book Awards winner. Shea is mother to two young adults; she and her partner, Andrew, reside in Phoenix, AZ.
