Circa 1960s printing in Near Fine minus condition; very clean and bright original light brown cloth boards with gilt letters to the spine; unbruised spine tips and corners to the boards; no previous owner's marks; title page has two printed title and publisher lettered attachments neatly applied (see images). Very clean and tight text block with no spotting or sunning, other than to some page edges. Dust jacket condition: Very Good: striking front cover and spine design with author's portrait and white title letters reversed out of brown to the top and author's letters overprinted on green at the bottom; two very short closed tears to the top edge of the spine tip and short closed tear and scuffs to other extremities; typeset reviews of "There Is No Armour" to the verso; not price clipped (5s).
