Sald Harl the hero of this novel wanted ONLY to soar on the back of his great eagle - NailBiter. From bodyguard to the prince, he becomes a common criminal, his life in danger. Cond: This is a VERY good copy of Duncan's second book. It has EXCELLENT corners w/ only tiny chips at corners .Tight !! GIFTABLE !! No marks, folds, creases NOR names. Bright and clean. Quote from p.190:". landed gently at IceFire's side on the worn stone wall of the perching. Then he bent his head, and Shadow's feet touched down also. Shadow stepped aside. " (See also my listings of Rose Red City - Duncan's debut work.).

Terms of sale
We may accept International money orders or personal cheques; please allow 6 days for cheques to clear. Please make cheques payable to Wagon Tongue Books. I can handle your credit card transactions ONLY through the ABE.commerce program. PAYPAL is also a workable option. We under rate the condition of our books, build cardboard shipping sleeves for protected shipping and respond promptly to requests and queries. Shipping and handling on all books is at the expense of the purchaser, and is often in the $12.95 per item range. Book weight and volume purchases will alter these conditions. We will be happy to re-quote books in Canadian dollars for local buyers and to arrange local `hand-offs'of purchases, if you prefer.
Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing less than 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
