Eric Bogatin is a physicist, writer and educator. After receiving his BS in Physics from MIT he went on to finish an MS and PhD also in physics from the University of Arizona, in Tucson, specializing in cosmology, lasers and quantum optics. For the last 35 years, he has focused on signal integrity, a specialized field in electrical engineering related to how signals interact in interconnects. It's basically applied Maxwell's Equations. In this field he has written seven technical books and lectures around the world. He is also on the adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado, Boulder where he teaches graduate classes in electrical engineering. This is his first science fiction book, but won't be his last.
