Shadow of the Human

2421 AD-300 years after the second coming of Joshua-and two months after the events of The Human.

Still recovering from the loss of Beth Raven, Adam is sent by his superior in the Church of Joshua on a questionable mission to a research Abbey.

It's the last thing he wants to do, and Lucky has warned him that it's a trap.

But then Lucky has been acting strangely himself lately.

And when Adam arrives at the Abbey, matters quickly become complicated.

He spots a woman who looks strangely familiar . . .

. . . he's initiated into the mysteries of deep theology . . .

. . . he's reunited with a friend from his former life . . .

. . . and once again he is confronted with murder.

If you like alternate future worlds, sci-fi, a good mystery-or if you just want to know what Adam Kinde's next adventure is all about-you want to read Shadow of the Human.
