Synopsis
Can Eve rise to meet the horrors of her destiny, or will she fall to the very monsters she fights to destroy?
Eve has left the De Omori School with her training unfinished and the weight of a monstrous world bearing down on her. Vampires, bloodfiends, and deadly secrets surround her, but her mission is clear: locate the kidnapped head of De Omori, the ancient and shadowy vampire protection agency. The task is daunting enough, but when her team starts being hunted and killed one by one, Eve realizes that she’s not just on a rescue mission - she’s walking into a trap.
Now, in her final year, Eve is thrust into a brutal, grown-up world where every choice could mean life or death. Betrayals cut deep, alliances are fleeting, and danger waits at every turn. With factions at war and vengeance tearing through the shadows, Eve must rely on every ounce of her strength and cunning, not just to survive, but to prevent the world from unravelling.
But the closer she gets to the truth, the more Eve begins to realize that the enemy isn’t always who, or what, they seem. In the blood-soaked darkness, where love collides with treachery and vengeance demands a price, Eve will face her ultimate test. Can she rise to meet the horrors of her destiny, or will she fall to the very monsters she fights to destroy?
About the Author
David was born twelve miles north of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in a small Northumberland town in the UK, and although he enjoys regular forays to the real world, he has lived in the general area ever since. He studied IT and creative writing at university (Not at the same time!) and he says there's no competition to which one he enjoys the most. He can be found with his nose in any books he can get his hands on, but of course has a particular affinity with horror novels. Strange fact - whilst he enjoys horror movies, he will freely admit that he can't stand slasher/torture films (with one or two exceptions). Writing for both the adult and young adult audience, David is quickly establishing himself as a writer to keep tabs on.
