The Shadow

Known as The Shadow on his team, Avery Callahan was known for moving quietly and without being seen. Walking into a ramshackle cabin, he rescues the beautiful Bain Forrester, bringing her to safety, unknowingly become involved in her life in a way that he has seen with his friends.

Raised as a foster child in an abusive home, Bain has never know the love or freedom that others have. Learning from Avery and his family and friends leaves Bain wondering just what her life could have been like.

Danger follows the couple in a way that they didn't expect or did expect, depending on how it was viewed. Reuniting with her biological family puts Bain into a situation that she had never dreamed would happen.
