First edition. Oblong octavo (10 3/8 x 6 7/8 inches). 14 leaves of stiff paper stock, all bearing chomolithographs of various silhouettes thrown upon the background by various poses stuck by people (e.g. the one entitled "Dodo' show a fine Victorian gentleman with pronounced muttonchops and the silhouette resembles a dodo bird). Most leaves have multiple images but four of them only bear one large chromo each. Publisher's chromolithograph covers with cloth spine. Covers with some wear and soiling but not horrendously so, rear cover with lower corner absent and one short tear, very old taidemark at the top corner of the leaves (not affecting images). Overall, a very good copy.
