From Shadows to Purpose

From Shadows to Purpose is a powerful and deeply personal memoir about breaking free from fear, self-doubt, and the belief that you are meant to stay unseen.

Growing up feeling invisible and battling the weight of bullying, insecurity, and silence, Donna Gilbert believed her life would always remain in the background. But through resilience, courage, and a refusal to let fear define her, she began rewriting her story.

From stepping into the MMA ring to building her own business from the ground up, Donna’s journey is one of transformation — from survival to strength, from self-doubt to self-worth, from shadows to purpose.

Raw, honest, and inspiring, this memoir is for anyone who has ever felt small, overlooked, or afraid to take up space.

Because sometimes the greatest fight isn’t in a ring…

It’s the one within yourself.
