From the Shadows of the Realm

Former elite commando Steven Parker's world is suddenly turned upside-down. He had received a letter telling him that he was the sole surviving heir to a large country estate in England. Since his parents were killed in a car crash when he was twelve, and he had been raised in an orphanage from that time on when no living relatives were found, he didn't understand how he could be an heir. After arriving in England to check things out, Steven Parker is attacked by a strange, unknown beast that is not what it seems. Left more dead than alive, he is rushed to a nearby hospital, where he makes an unsual but miraculous recovery. While in England, Parker meets Charles Dolmer, a man that is part of his inheritence, and is also not what he seems, along with Holly Davenport, a beautiful but dangerous private investigator, who turns out to be the love of Parker's life. When Parker takes Holly back to the States to tie up some loose ends and give them a chance to get to know each other better, Holly is kidnapped. A message was left telling him to be at Stonehenge by the next full moon, three weeks away. Who kidnapped Holly, and why? What does Charles Dolmer know about the kidnapping that he is not telling? As Parker tries to find the answers to these questions, he finds that nothing is as it seems, and now, not only Holly's life is at stake, but he very world is in danger of being destroyed.
