Portsmouth, England, 1943. The fate of a Royal Navy ship hangs in the balance, and three teenagers are the only ones who know. When Lena overhears a whispered conversation and discovers a coded note tucked inside a library book, she has no idea she's stumbled onto something far more dangerous than she could imagine. Together with her friends Tommy and Elsa, she begins to unravel a sinister plot: someone is signaling to mysterious boats lurking outside Portsmouth Harbor, planning to sabotage a vital naval vessel. Their search for answers leads them to an abandoned church basement, where they find boxes filled with secret codes and a hidden radio. But when they try to sound the alarm, no one will listen. Adults dismiss them as "emotional young people" caught up in wartime hysteria. Teachers brush aside their concerns. Even their own families won't take them seriously. Then the accusations begin, and one of them is branded a spy. As suspicion turns friends into suspects and neighbors into enemies, Lena, Tommy, and Elsa must race against time to expose the truth before it's too late. In a world torn apart by war, where loyalty is tested and courage comes at a price, three ordinary teenagers will discover that sometimes the most important battles are fought not on distant shores, but in their own hometown. A gripping historical mystery that brings World War II to life through the eyes of young heroes fighting to be heard, to be believed, and to save lives before the enemy strikes, based on authentic historical details from wartime Britain.
