Original brown polished full tree calf, gilt on red and black lettering pieces, all edges tinted pale green. Small piece of the calf missing from the top of the upper joint of Vol. I otherwise a VG handsome tight and clean set with the armorial bookplates of William Blair Esqr. of Blair on the front pastedowns.
