Perry, Bellow Bill was a seemingly-superhuman, tattoo-covered mountain of a sailor who couldn't keep from stumbling into one adventure after another throughout the South Seas.
Clearly another inspiration for the creation of Doc Savage (whose creator Lester Dent was an avid reader of Argosy during this period), these adventures of Bellow Bill have never before been reprinted. Included here are his final eight stories, originally appearing in 1934-36: "The Scar," "The Jungle Master," "Blood Payment," "The Rats of Mahia," "Fangs of the Fetish," "The Golden Oyster," "The Atoll of Flaming Men," and "Shark Trail."
