The Shark Who Needed My Pyjamas

Vanessa has lost her pyjamas.... again.

Little does she know that in her bathroom is a great big Pyjama Shark trying on all her pairs, as he's looking for the perfect pyjamas to wear in the ocean.

This whimsical bedtime story is brought to you by Australian author Rum Charles, writer of the popular children's books The Sea Glass Witch, Dad There's A Hammerhead In The Shed and Are Lemons Bitey.

Vanessa lives with her Dad. She finds herself having unexpected friendships with these loveable creatures, who need her help for all sorts of hilarious reasons.

Fun facts - Pyjama Sharks are real sharks that live in the oceans around the coast of Southern Africa.

Rum Charles is a talented author and an in-demand keynote speaker. He has been weaving stories on corporate stages for over twenty years, delighting audiences whilst educating people on the important topics of human communications skills. Rum has three children, and a big part of the nightly routine when they were little was the bedtime story. It was a magical and special part of the evening, when anything could happen thanks to the many authors brought into our home. We danced, sang, met fairies, and flew to the stars (sometimes all in one night). Rum has now taken his gift for storytelling and written his first children's book, drawing on the memories he had of reading his own children bedtime stories and how much this has shaped their imaginations and given them a real thirst for knowledge, sparking a curiosity for all things in life. He hopes you and your little ones will be as enchanted with The Sea Glass Witch as he and his children have been with the many books they have read together over the years.
