Remnants of bookplate? on front flyleaf. Light rubbing at extremities. A nice Ex Libris bookplate of Jacob Bates Abbott on front paste down. This was his personal copy and it depicts a naked lady riding a bear with a knight in armor behind her. Jacob Bates Abbott (1895-1950) was a prolific book illustrator who lived in California and Pennsylvania. Contents clean and tight with no marks or inscriptions. PayPal accepted.
