Shar's Story

Sharlene Maxwell had never had a problem getting a date, getting laid, or getting a gig. When other girls were lamenting their changing bodies, she embraced her thickening thighs, hips, and belly. As a mid-size model, she was a hot commodity, and her agent/best friend Jerry kept her busy with consistent, travel-paid, photo shoots. Still, at 26 years old, she knew those days were numbered. Then, she landed the gig of a lifetime–a year-long series of marketing campaigns for one of the top telecommunications companies in the country.

Shar only had one major rule: No fraternizing at work.

Sloan Mackenzie built Velocity Telecommunications up from nothing. Their recent excursion into cellular devices rather than cellular service plans flopped, leaving him questioning the company’s future. With the help of his business partner, they created a new marketing plan that included hiring someone else to be the face of the products. He left the details to his partner and went to blow off steam the way he always did, surfing. Drowning his stress in the ocean and appreciating the beautiful women along the sand had always helped him get his mind right.

Mack only had one rule: Do not get involved.

When chance finds them on the same beaches, on opposite shores, at the same time, they each must decide if the other is worth breaking the rules.
