The Shattered Currents (Paperback or Softback)

Book Two of The Veilwing Chronicles

The sky is no longer safe… and the Song is no longer whole.

The World Song—the fragile harmony that sustains the floating realms of Aeralith—is unraveling faster than ever before. Storms no longer follow the natural rhythm. Currents twist into violent chaos. And the creatures of the skies are beginning to lose themselves entirely.

Lyren can feel it all.

Bound to Lumin, a rare and powerful Ceilwing, Lyren’s connection to the Song has deepened into something both extraordinary and terrifying. What once came as whispers is now a relentless flood—visions, memories, and echoes of a world breaking apart at its very core.

The truth is no longer avoidable.

Driven by fragments of lost lore and a growing sense of urgency, Lyren journeys beyond the edges of the known skies in search of Aethelgard—the mythical city said to house the Resonance Anchor, the only force capable of restoring balance. But the path is treacherous, shaped by living storms, deceptive currents, and ancient forces that do not wish to be found.

And the deeper Lyren travels, the clearer it becomes:

The Song was never what they believed it to be.

As reality fractures and hidden truths rise to the surface, Lyren must confront a devastating choice—one that could either restore the harmony of Aeralith… or shatter it beyond repair.
