Shattered Vows

He built the life they dreamed of. She became everything they said she couldn’t. So why does it still feel like they’re losing each other?

Kareem Campbell is a man who does everything right—on paper. He’s loyal, successful, emotionally present, and committed to keeping his marriage intact. But after seven years with Fallon—a brilliant attorney chasing partnership at all costs—their connection has thinned to calendar reminders and cold dinners.

Fallon didn’t mean to become distant. She’s spent her whole life guarding her heart from betrayal—especially the kind her father dealt her mother. Vulnerability feels like weakness. But behind the tailored suits and courtroom wins, Fallon is unraveling under the weight of her own walls.

When Kareem quietly begins therapy and an old flame resurfaces, he's forced to confront the question he's avoided for years: What do you do when love isn’t enough to hold the marriage together—but you’re too afraid to let go?

Set against the backdrop of professional ambition and generational wounds, Shattered Vows is a deeply honest, emotionally raw exploration of modern Black love, masculine vulnerability, and the silent space where intimacy either breaks—or rebuilds.
