Shellcraft

Ever wondered what to do with the buckets of shells you lug home from the beach that the kids wouldn't let you part with? Examine their colors, sizes, shapes and craft something wonderful with them. Try making objets d'art out of them. The Ralles, a husband and wife team of designers, demonstrate how, with some glue and a few other artist materials, you can create figures, plants, flowers, animals and scenes using scallops, hinged and other shells. Fashion flowers, butterflies, buildings, fantasy and comedy figures, witches, horses and riders. The works can adorn every room in your house and they last a long time.
