Large 8vo HB. pp; xxviii, 216. Frontis w/tissue-guard, further B&W plate, line illustrations and maps to text. Edges of text-block discoloured, with heavy offsetting to free endpapers. Internally tight, but externally Fair in blue cloth, lettered gilt. Bumping and marking to corners, slight scuffing to spine-ends, and a small split to the front edge of the spine adjacent to the title.
