The Shift (Paperback)

When Matt, a brilliant but fractured mind, discovers how to send messages across parallel universes, Matsuo moves to claim the power for himself. Matt stands for openness. Matsuo for control. Between them is Claire, torn between her love for Matt and the intimate battles raging inside her. Matsuo kills Matt before his discovery can spread. But the code survives. And across universes shifted in time, other Matts survive as well. To stop the Matuos from killing them too, Claire must reach the surviving Matts. Yet in a multiverse where every choice repeats, who is the true enemy? Matsuo's army of corporate warriors and hackers, or free will itself? The Shift is not only between worlds. It is between who we are, and who we dare to become.
