The Shimmer

For seventeen years, the wall was the edge of the world. He was wrong about almost everything beyond it.

Raised inside a hidden temple, a boy with impossible gifts has never lost a fight or had a single thought the masters didn't give him first. He is the most gifted student in a generation and that is just what they fear.

When a burning aircraft tears through the sky and crashes beyond the boundary, he breaks the temple's oldest law to save the girl in the wreckage.

But escape is only the beginning. Because twenty years ago, another boy walked through that same wall alone. And he has just felt the signal he's been waiting two decades to receive.

The Shimmer is the explosive first book in a saga of hidden gods and buried truths. It's a story that asks: what if the cage was built to look exactly like home?
