Ship on Fire

A small-town single dad firefighter needs love, too.
But my mom won't let me out of her clutches for a second.

When my momager forced me to sleep on some random boat she rented in the middle of nowhere to shoot her latest delulu kidfluencer concept, I never thought I would almost die in a fire.

And I never thought a handsome fireman would rescue me from the flames.

Now I want to break free from my mom’s control. Which threatens her plan to ship me and Ted for our social media channel. (Ship on a ship, get it? Yeah, she’s the only one who thought that was cute.) And since I’m her only source of income, she’ll do anything to tear me away from the man I’m starting to fall for.

Being a firefighter means everything to me.
So why did I jeopardize my whole career by getting caught with her at the firehouse?

Carter

I’m the newest and youngest member of the East Greenwich Fire Co. and the one with the most to prove. I’m doing everything I can to keep my head down, work hard, and show the Chief that he made the right decision when he hired me.

I sure wasn’t planning to fall in love with the beautiful girl I rescued from a burning boat.

Now I’m on the Chief’s bad side because I brought her back to the station. He caught us in the middle of….well, let’s say less than clothed. But no matter what anybody says, she’s not just a fling for me. And anybody can see she needs to be rescued from more than the fire.

Then again, maybe I’m the one who needs rescuing.
