In Their Shoes: A Choose-Your-Own Neurodiverse Adventure

Being neurodiverse can be hard. Really hard. Having a condition that makes you experience the world in different ways can sometimes make you feel excluded, or even downright bullied. And society doesn’t help. Those who identify as neurotypical (normal) usually write off neurodiverse people as being “weird,” or “off,” and thus create societal systems not well-designed for people who think, see, and feel the world around them differently. This book was written to inform and entertain both neurodiverse and neurotypical people of how the American educational system is one of the most egregious examples of a space rarely accommodating for neurodiverse people.
