Shooting Guide: Firearm Safety

This illustrated shooting guide was compiled to fill a need concerning firearms safety and the beginning gunner. It covers types of firearms and tips on how to use them as well as ethical uses of firearms in sport shooting and hunting. The work has special chapters on shotguns and improving shooting techniques. Another chapter covers rifle scopes and other visual aids. Much of the material in this book was produced by the National Rifle Association and the National Shooting Sports Foundation for their firearms education programs. It is reprinted here with their permission. The book was edited by experts in the field of education. Its contents are designed to reinforce learning in this important asp~ of outdoor sports.
