Short Stories for the Long Flight (Paperback)

Paperback. Short Stories for the Long Flight is a gallery of some of the characters who have gained squatters' rights in Danielle Aird's mind. Among the uninvited guests are Mr. Nesbitt, a teacher with an original way of dealing with troubled kids; a couple who generously invite an unknown traveller to sleep in their caravan; a little boy who doesn't miss a word from his grandmother's irreverent lips; a nostalgic woman who flies back home to England for a visit with her parents and friends; a boy who becomes confused when his parents engage in unstable relationships; a couple who watches with frustration as their neighbour treats his Oriental wife as a servant; a man who stumbles upon an ingenious way of getting rid of a weighty nuisance on his property.
