Shortcuts, Mix-Ups, and Other Excellent Ideas (Paperback)

Paperback. Every good plan needs a shortcut. Every shortcut needs an apology. Mina draws a faster route that may not exist. Theo's backpack opens an office. Priya gets trapped in the slowest parade in town. And those are only the first three problems. Across ten illustrated stories, clever kids face runaway checklists, mixed-up museum exhibits, dramatic library books, confused trophies, suspicious weather forecasts, and one goose that appears to be in charge. Solving each mess takes observation, cooperation, honesty, and a willingness to try a much stranger plan. Shortcuts, Mix-Ups, and Other Excellent Ideas is a fast-moving collection of funny everyday adventures for independent readers ages 8-12. Each story offers a complete comic predicament, an inventive child-led solution, and one original grayscale illustration. This item is printed on demand.
