The First Edition Library's beautiful facsimile of Fitzgerald's classic novel. I can't find any flaws in the book, which appears to be as issued. The dust jacket has a tiny chip at top of front panel and a minor wrinkle on top of back panel, see photos- probably still fine but I've rated it near fine to be conservative. The slipcase is fresh and clean, small indentation in closed edge, still fine. First Edition Library Facsimiles had the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish and texture as the originals. Even mistakes (all first edition points are present) were duplicated The series is now out of print and these facsimiles are collectible in their own right. The publisher's slip describing first edition points and other information about the book is important to collectors and this book has it. Keep in mind that the points card was only provided in older copies before the Easton Press took over First Edition Library. New copies in shrink wrap are likely to be Easton copies and not include a points card.
