Her past and present are an open book to him, and her future is in his hands. But she soon owns his heart.

He thinks he can commandeer my life and make me his property, but he’s picked the wrong girl.

Black gloves and a jaguar mask. That’s all I know about my stalker, the man who wants to enslave me. The Jaguar is the most in-control person I’ve ever met, but his smooth front conceals a deadly capacity to ruin and dominate, an iron will that takes what it wants with impunity. That’s why I need to run. He wants to claim me as his plaything, but I’m no one’s toy, and no one orders me around.

But once he’s captured me, the rules of the game shift, and I’m forced to face my demons head-on, taking everything the Jaguar throws at me. Growing up, all I ever wanted was to be seen. Now that my stalker has become my master, I’m more seen than ever. Yet I also see that my mind is a dark place. Will he break me before I can redeem myself?

I’m hunting new prey: a reluctant Persephone who’s about to be enchained in my Hades.

Three projects consume my life: toppling a crooked billionaire, finding out who killed my sister, and reversing climate change. But when I set eyes on Pearl, these goals pale in comparison to enslaving her. The dynamite at her core called to me from the first. True to her name, she’s a precious gem, made for my enjoyment. But since I’ve never liked an easy chase, I plan to make this challenging. And if I read her right, she’ll be fun to tame.

Yet she catches me off guard at every turn. In order to break her down, I have to confront my past crimes, my guilt, and my rationale for enslaving women. For every uncomfortable truth she acknowledges, I’m forced to hide three of my own. Denial has served me well for years, but how long will it defend me from her hope, courage, and openness?
