NO Date shown - COPAC gives it as (1944) the brackets meaning they aren't sure - but a knowledgeable source has told me that on the last page there is a code that contains the Year of Publication. In this case it is 44917 441130 56020 - the latter the date meaning this copy was reprinted on the 20th September 1956, and with only 3 dates shown I assume this is therefore a Third Edition. A Lovely Period 'pulp fiction paperback in near VG conditon - it has some VERY slight storage wear - a nick, with loss, to the top of the spine, a little light rubbing, and some light creasing to the spine, but it looks as if this copy hasn't been opened or read - so I think the creasing was due to the type of publication and done by the (Dublin) publishers. The paper is uniformly light brown all through but NO Inscriptions or marks and the book is VERY Clean, Tight and Bright - so tight I'm pretty sure it has never been read. A Lovely 'Pulp' cover of the period with the Artist named, but I can't decipher it? A Lovely Copy. See Images ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall.
