Popular film actress best remembered for her 1948-56 radio (later television) series "Our Miss Brooks." Large and bold "Best of Luck / to Donald Burnell / Sincerely / Eve Arden" in blue ballpoint on an oddly-trimmed slip, roughly 4½" X 4", n.p., n.y. [ca. 1960]. Good plus. Several small tape stains at margins, slightly touching upon several letters. Accompanied by a modern high-quality black and white 10" X 8" glossy photograph, a scene from the 1953 comedy "The Lady Wants Mink" depicting Arden in mink coat talking to William Demarest. Fine. Despite flaws, the signature and inscription are attractive -- a charming pair.
