This popular leading lady of the stage, film and television starred on Broadway for several years with husband Howard Lindsay (1889-1968) in "Life with Father," who wrote the play with Russel Crouse based on Clarence Day's book. Handsome inscription and signature in black fineline, dated by her 1974 February 21, on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p. Fine. With original envelope. Accompanied by a small 4to "Playbill" program for the October 21, 1940 performance of "Life with Father" at The Empire Theatre in New York. 36pp, illustrations, numerous advertisements.
