The dark blue cloth cover has the title and some sled dogs in silver, with the title on the spine in silver also; the trimmed head is colored blue. The corners are not bumped, there is a water smear on the back cover 3” long. The endpapers are in black and white and show a man driving his dog team, there is a former owners name there. The frontispiece is of Silver Chief and is one of 5 total colored illustrations in the book, along with many black and white illustrations. The interior is bright and clean. The Dust-jacket has the picture of Silver Chief and the title is in black. There are a few chips to front cover, spine end and other chips; the price is unclipped.
