From the Author: Hello! I'm so excited to share my space adventure Simon and the Solar System. I wrote this book back in college as an extra credit assignment for my astronomy class. I based the main character on my professor, famed astronomer Simon Balm, whose enthusiasm for space and the planets was infectious. As my career in children's writing took off, I rediscovered the story and decided to update it and release it as its own book. Top Youtube artist Mary Doodles even agreed to do the illustrations, which were all hand-painted in watercolor and are galactically breathtaking.
