The Simple Family Bible Study Guide

Want your kids to meet Jesus in the Bible, but screens keep winning the evening?

Does it feel hard to get everyone in the same room, same time, same focus?

Do you ever think, “I should be reading the Bible more,” and then wonder how you are supposed to teach it if you do not feel like an expert?

Do you want something that works for little kids, teens, and parents without turning into a lecture?

The Simple Family Bible Study Guide by Caleb Verdance was written for that exact tension. The core idea is simple: do it together. You and your family get to learn the good news, grow in faith, and get closer, one small screen-free moment at a time.

This is a 30-week family Bible study built to take 15 to 20 minutes per week. It gives you a clear weekly rhythm that still works when life is packed. You do not need to prep a lesson. The book gives you a read-aloud chapter, guided questions, and a closing prayer for each week, so you can sit down and start.

Inside, you will find:

• 30 weekly sessions that connect the Bible’s storyline and keep pointing back to Jesus
• A 15 to 20 minute weekly format that fits real schedules
• A simple read-aloud script that makes leading feel natural
• Questions that work across ages, so kids and teens can both participate
• Screen-free interactive moments that keep younger kids engaged
• “Hard questions” sections for teens, built for honest conversation
• A closing prayer for every week, already written and ready to read
• A free add-on workbook download, including 66 single-page summaries of every book of the Bible, plus extra printable support
• And so much more…

If you feel unqualified, the script carries the weight. If your teen is skeptical, the hard questions give you a real on-ramp for conversation. If you miss a week, you can pick up again without shame and without getting lost.
