A Simple Queer Incorrigible Heartbreaking Miraculous Life

A simple queer. Incorrigible. Heartbreaking. Miraculous life.

In this deeply intimate and genre-blurring novel, Michelle A. Gabow invites readers into the inner world of Margo-a woman navigating aging, memory, identity, grief, and desire with raw honesty and lyrical depth.

Set between the tangible present and a fluid landscape of memory, imagination, and spirit, the story follows Margo as she reflects on her past loves, friendships, creative life, and the emotional complexities of growing older. Through nonlinear storytelling, shifting voices, and poetic prose, the boundaries between fiction and reality dissolve-revealing a life that is as fragmented as it is whole.

At the center is a meditation on:

• Queer identity and self-discovery
• The persistence of love and loss
• The weight of memory and trauma
• Creativity as survival
• Aging as both burden and liberation

With moments of humor, sensuality, and philosophical insight, this novel explores what it means to witness one's own life-to sit in solitude, to remember, to imagine, and to continue becoming.

For readers who appreciate literary fiction that challenges structure and embraces emotional truth, this is a quietly powerful exploration of what it means to live fully-even in uncertainty.
