Synopsis
Simple Spirituality: Finding Your Own Way is a self-help guide for people who feel called to include spirituality in their lives but don't know where to begin. It is for the spiritually homeless who don't connect with conventional religion, for the spiritual novice taking the first steps on the spiritual path, and for the spiritually obese who have feasted on too many exotic practices and belief systems and need to return to a basic yet nourishing spiritual foundation grounded in their own uniqueness. Most importantly, it is offered to people who have no time to add one more activity to their to-do list. It teaches one how to make use of time spent stressing out or spacing out to begin a spiritual practice, how to use conflict in relationships as the occasion for deepening the practice, how to discover one's guiding moral and ethical principles, and to know if God has to be part of the program. Simple Spirituality is a map to the treasure that is your own unique spiritual life.
