Simple Steps : Ten Things You Can Do to Create an Exceptional Life

"We are not so much human beings on a spiritual journey as spiritual beings on a human journey."
-Teilhard de Chardin

There is life-transforming power in this realization, expressed first by Teilhard de Chardin. Yet the tools we need to claim an exceptional life are not out of our grasp. They are much, much closer at hand than we might imagine. And we can start using them today. One of the ways people are seeking to straighten out their lives is by strengthening their spiritual lives. Dr. Arthur Caliandro is Norman Vincent Peale's successor and one of the most widely respected spirtual leaders in America. In this book, he shares his philosophy that the keys to a fuller life are present within each one of us, waiting to be unlocked through a simple decision of some simple actions. He offers ten simple steps that can be put into practice immediately to forge a new and exceptional life, such as Settle the Score with Your Past, Take Risks, Tap Your Inner Momentum, Seek Solitude, Take Leadership for your Life and Start a Regular Spiritual Discipline. Each of the steps consists of shorter, action-oriented steps the reader can put into practice immediately, such as Choose a Good Attitude, Take the Higher Road, Big Doors Swing on Little Hinges - Put Some Oil on Your Hinges, etc. Whereas Deepak Chopras's path to finding fulfillment is an East/West approach and Marianne Williamson's is New Age, Arthur Caliandro offers a spiritual path to becoming all you were meant to be.
