ABOUT THE AUTHOR: RAJIV RAJU got his first Ham license at the age of 8 as KB9YFO. His main motivation to get a license at that age was to attempt to talk with astronauts on the International Space Station, who were communicating with people on Earth with ham radio. He has held his current call K9RAJ since 2001. Rajiv wrote this book to make the wonderful hobby that is amateur radio accessible to even more people.
