Simply Existing

Kenneth Starcher's debut novel explores the recesses of the human psyche, all our pasts that make us into the people we are. A girl's whole life in one morning... Claire Halloway is like any teenage girl: lonely, frustrated, confused. SIMPLY EXISTING tells the story of one fateful morning in Claire's life. She's just broken up with her boyfriend, the most serious relationship she's had in her short life, and she feigns illness to spend the morning alone in her thoughts, thoughts that take her through all the dark labyrinths of her past. No dusty corner is left unexplored, as she struggles to learn the truths about who she is and whether or not she's made a correct decision... Also included is Kenneth Starcher's 2003 short story, "The Walk," the inspiration for SIMPLY EXISTING.

Kenneth Starcher was born and raised in North Carolina, where he still lives today. SIMPLY EXISTING is his first novel. His main passion is film, and writes motion picture reviews on a regular basis on his website, www.krsjrproductions.com.
