About the Author

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: Joel is a modern day Renaissance man living and working in NYC. He grew up enamored by the exciting worlds of Disney animation and comic books. By emulating these styles, he taught himself to draw and developed his own signature artistic point of view. His breadth of work encompasses being a published children s book illustrator & cover artist, as well as having experience in concept art, graphic design, and puppet design/creation. As an illustrator, Joel enjoys moving between various mediums such as digital, traditional pen & ink and watercolor. He was recently honored to receive rave reviews from the New York Times and other notable media outlets for his design/creation of the puppets for the Off-Broadway hit That Golden Girls Show - A Puppet Parody. ----
